Timewarp - Immediate Video Analysis

Timewarp can be used in any clinical setting where you are trying to help patients learn/re-learn movement patterns. It helps you achieve this by showing your patient how they are moving, making the invisible, visible. You can also show them examples of correct movement as a positive model for them to try and replicate. This is the ideal solution for physical therapists.

Timewarp

Let your patient see what they are doing with the TimeWarp video playback system. It is simple to use; just set it and don’t touch it again for the rest of the session. You and your patient can just watch the computer screen as it plays back what happened ‘live’ 10 seconds ago (you can alter this time delay).

  • The patient watches an exemplar video of the task being performed.
  • They have a go themselves.
  • They watch themselves on the computer screen next to the exemplar video.
  • They repeat this task as many times as needed with input from the physical therapists and before you know it another competency is achieved.
  • Videos of pre/post intervention can be saved to: help with patient motivation ("look how much you have improved") or with assessment/refinement of the intervention.
